Virtual Trans-Affirming Best Practices Workshop

Looking for tips on how to support transgender, nonbinary, gender expansive people in your life? Join us for a sliding scale workshop!

This virtual 2-hour Zoom workshop will:

  • explain the importance of pronouns

  • discuss how to handle mistakes and/or misgendering

  • briefly review the effects of transphobic systems

  • review common terms

  • provide concrete action items to support people at both work and home

Praxis' services are customized to the groups, workplaces & institutions who hire us to partner with them. As we have facilitated dozens of “Trans-Affirming Best Practices” workshops, it has become very apparent that a lot of people are still looking for this learning opportunity, whether with their coworkers, community or family.

This is the second time we are creating open-to-the-public Zoom workshops. Participants will receive the Zoom link via email once registration is completed. This workshop is offered on a sliding scale.

We are offering all tickets at discounted rates of $25-$35 with a limited number of free tickets. If free tickets are "sold out" and you need one, please email jes@praxischi.com.
